For my inked series, I used ink every day to explore and celebrate the richness of my Haitian heritage. My work is deeply motivated by a desire to reclaim and share the spiritual stories, folklore, and ancestral wisdom that have shaped me.

I draw inspiration from Haitian Vodou symbols, veves, and the everyday poetry found in our rituals and traditions weaving together these threads into each piece.

Through this practice, I hope to grow as an artist, to give visual voice to my culture, and to spark a deeper connection between the world and the living legacy of Haiti.

Ultimately, I wanted this collection to be more than a personal challenge. I wantet it to be a gift, a bridge, and an ode to the power and beauty that lies in Haitian roots.
